Part of the Zingela Safari lodge Warthog Island is a site about 2km drive from the main reception on the banks of the Tugela River. The campsite is excellent mowed section easily able to handle up to 5 families, with large fire area under a tree, outdoor showers with a fire heated donkey geyser and outdoor flushing toilets. There is no mains power or drinking running water on the site but reception has both if necessary.

Driving from the Colenso side, the road is great, however, the last 15km will require a high clearance 4x4. From the Weenen side the road is tougher. The dirt section will take you 60 - 90 mins drive if you are towing a 4x4 trailer.
