THE NEW ESSEXVALE CHURCH: (Excerpts from Beloved African) 1942: The school had just been moved from Tjolotjo to Mzingwane with the schoolboys practicing their skills in building, carpentry, metalwork, and agriculture to build the church and buildings from scratch - from burning their own bricks to planting trees and crops they were, at last, reaping the rewards of sleeping in comfortable dormitories and enjoying the first eggs and milk from the farm.
