Peak/Hill Chigaramboni Hill

This is a prominent hill, from the time 1868 -1881 Adam "Sadzamu" Renders lived here with Chief Bik and traded here amongst the people of Chief Pika from 1868 - 1873. Famous because he found the Great Zimbabwe Ruins in 1867 having inadvertently come across the ruins while hunting big game. Some years later he showed them to Carl Mauch, it was Mauch who received most of the credit for finding it. Render died in obscurity in 1881.
