Maru Djembe is located in the greater Kruger. Just outside the Kruger National park. Within 60km from Phalaborwa Kruger park gate and 48km from Orpen Kruger park gate. The panorama route Graskop is within an hours drive away where you will visit the three rondavels, bourke’s luck potholes and the Graskop glass lift. Jessica the world’s most famous hippo is just half an hours drive from Maru Djembe. Jabulani safari is half an hours drive away where you can meet the Jabulani elephant herd and interact with them. The campsite isn’t fenced but the main property is fenced.

Directions

From Hoedspruit take the R40 to Phalaborwa. Drive 12km and Maru Djembe tourism board will be visible 300m before turn to right to Maru Djembe on right side. From Tzaneen and Phalaborwa side the property will be on left. From mica, drive 13km and tourism board will be visible 300m before turn to left to Maru Djembe From Orpen Kruger Gate drive on the R40 to Phalaborwa road 38 Km to Maru Djembe on your right hand side. There will be a tourism board 300m before turn of to right for Maru Djembe. From Phalaborwa Gate Kruger take R40 to mica. Past mica continue 13 Km on left hand side tourism board will be visible 300m before turn to left to Maru Djembe.
