“Tsitsikamma is a region along the coast, south of the Tsitsikamma Mountains, between Plettenberg Bay and Humansdorp. The name means ‘waters begin here’ and refers to the high rainfall and the many rivers and streams in the area. The region has given its name to the Tsitsikamma Mountains and Tsitsikamma river” - Chris Smit, 2024/08/08
