Xwabaxwa Campsite is operated by the mobile safari company, Squamater Safaris. Located on the outskirts of Khwai village, along the Khwai River, the company uses Xwabaxwa Camp as a home base campsite for their safari tours. The campsite is also available to self-drive travellers.
The site has nine stands, each with a rubbish bin, standpipe and fire place. There are two ablution blocks with hot water provided by donkey boiler. Firewood is included in the cost of camping. Water is provided by a borehole and is said to be potable.
Stand #4 is a large site, used by the Squamater mobile safaris on their first night before heading away on safari. The stand is available for self-drive travellers when not in use by the safari company.
