Chobe Hideaway campsite is a haven for those seeking a peaceful retreat and a chance to connect with nature. Situated within about 100m away from the chalets. The sites offers beautiful views with a communal ablution block with bathrooms, showers, a dishwashing area, and running water. There is no electricity at the campsites, but the communal lapa has a 220v power point for charging electronics.
Each campsite has a dedicated fireplace for cooking and enjoyment. There is no kitchen, fire pits at each site only. There are no electricity points at the campsites with a general electric outlet at the main check-in lapa for phone and laptop charging. Firewood is used for heating the shower water, which uses a fire-heated system called a “donkey”. There's boma for groups that can be used on request by either bigger camping party or chalet occupants as well.
