Moretele River Lodge, which takes its name from the Moretele River, a tributary of the Crocodile River, is situated in Dinokeng Game Reserve, A 21 000-hectare malaria-free Big 5 Game reserve just north of Pretoria, catering for the "Adventurous" campers that require a connection with Nature.

They offer 2 Types of camping accommodation, The 'Exclusive campsites' which offers more of a luxurious style, and the '4x4 wild campsites' for the campers that wish to be completely self-sufficient.

4x4 Off Grid Campsite: A quaint clearing in the riverside wilderness, Single water point (Borehole water), NO ablution facilities (or access to), NO electricity or lighting. Access to swimming pool at reception.
