It opened at Century City on November 15, 2019, as a monumental celebration of South Africa’s struggle for freedom and democracy. The exhibition aims to commemorate the heroes of South Africa’s fight for liberation and serve as a place of learning, growth, and self-reflection. The collection has been displayed at various locations across the country before arriving in Cape Town, including Maropeng in Gauteng.
