Eco-Trail Marker Start (Groenkloof 4WD-trail)

Groenkloof 4WD Trail is situated near Pretoria. The trail is located in the Groenkloof Nature Reserve. It is described as a nature route and offers a challenge. Mountain bikes are welcome and there are also hiking trails. The trail offers some tricky obstacles, there is however a bypass route at every obstacle for those not ready for the challenge. Visitors to the reserve will receive a guide book with hints on 4x4 driving and 4x4 etiquette also a map and list of mammals, birds and trees in the reserve. There is accommodation available in overnight huts that sleep 12 people and a youth camp for 30 people. The trail is 14km long and takes about 2 hours, there is a maximum of 12 people allowed on the trail.
