“This beautiful birding site has been dreadfully badly damaged by flooding during summer 2009-2010. There is currently (April 2010-June 2010) an online petition requesting the Tshwane Municipality to address the environmental degradation as a matter of urgency prior to the spring 2010 bird breeding season. The petition may be viewed at: http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/Austin-Roberts-bird-sanctuary - many thanks for caring and sharing!” -
