DanielsHoogte is a working farm rich in Fynbos, situated at the top of Aurora Mountain. One is able to camp or stay in the self-catering mountain cottages situated in various locations on the farm. The Cave campsite is comprised of 4 sites, a well equipped braai area, 1 ablution block with running water (solar heating) and a flushing toilet. The Cave Campsite is accessible by a 4x4 vehicle only. Guests who don't have a 4x4 vehicle will be assisted. There is a walk of 150m to the cave if you don't have a 4x4 vehicle. Campfires are allowed to keep cozy during cold chilly nights.

CAMPING:
Is available at the caves. Cave is accessible by4x4 only. You can sleep in out of tent or your 4x4 bush trailer.
PROPERTY RULES:
No pets allowed for their security and safety.
All activities at own risk. Please note you’ll be required to sign an Indemnity Form prior to commencement of chosen activities.
Approaching of wildlife is prohibited as this is their natural habitat for you to observe and enjoy.
No smoking in the accommodation and utmost care is to be taken with extinguishing of cigarette butts and braai fires—this is a fire sensitive area.
VISITORS’ NOTES:
Vehicles must stay on the designated roads at all times.
On arrival, please report to the office situated 5km from the main gate.
Removal or disturbance of archaeological finds, Bushman paintings, fauna and flora is prohibited.
No vandalism will be tolerated.
The nearest petrol station is in Velddrif (40km) or Piketberg (50km).
